Richmond and Leyburn Creative Stitchers are an independent stitch group, formerly a Branch of the Embroiderers’ Guild. We were set up in 1999 and meet twice monthly at Harmby Village Hall to share and expand our creative knowledge within a friendly environment whilst working on a wide range of individual and community projects and seeking to foster the art of embroidery promoting stitching and textile art. We invite speakers who talk on a range of topics and arrange workshops for further enjoyment and learning.
Our members come from a wide area, and all are welcome – beginners and experts alike. The only qualification is an interest and love of stitch.
Meetings are normally on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month 10am-3.30pm. £4 per meeting for members; visitors are also welcome: £5 per meeting. Refreshments are provided but if coming for the day please bring a packed lunch.
